Down-tempo grooves and a laid-back vibe, The Blind Monk Chilled is a great way to round out your weekend. Our friend DJ Gary Carter will be supplying the tunes. The name The Blind Monk is derived from Dom Pierre Pérignon, the famed Benedictine monk and cellar master of the Abbey of Hautvillers in Champagne, France. To ensure the highest quality grapes were selected for his wines, Dom would taste and select grapes without knowing the source vineyard. This crucial first step of what became known as the Methodé Champenoise led to a revolution in the production and quality of sparkling wine. Over time, references to these “blind tastings” led to the misconception that Dom Pérignon was blind. Our name is a tribute to this wine making legend.
Trip Advisor Review: "This was the first stop on our West Palm Beach Food Tour. It is a tapas style wine bar. Very quaint and simple. Open for "the AM shift" and then again for the "Evening". Great if you like sharing and simple and #cleaneating! We had a Prosecco Mojito to start as a cocktail. It was spectacular! Very refreshing. To pair, we had a PAN CON TOMATE- which was
garlic-rubbed toast, sea salt and a crushed tomato for spreading/dipping. Delicious. Light.
We also had a AHI TUNA TOSTADA with mango salsa, avocado, on a crispy tortilla. It was everything I wanted it to be and more! Remember before you visit to check their dining times!"
